Fr. Straub to offer Missa Cantata at Silver Spring

A Missa Cantata with schola will be offered Sunday, November 23, at the Traditional Latin Mass Congregation of Silver Spring, Maryland. Father Jacob Straub of the Diocese of Covington, Kentucky, will be the celebrant of the Mass of the 24th and Last Sunday after Pentecost.

Holy Mass will begin at 8:00 am.  Confessions will be heard from 7:30 to 7:55 am.  A second collection will be taken up on behalf of the Society of Christ Fathers for Poles Living Abroad, which administers the parish of Our Lady Queen of Poland and St. Maximilian Kolbe. Besides serving the Polish-speaking Catholic community in the area, this parish makes its church building available every Sunday for the celebration of the Traditional Latin Mass in Silver Spring.

Silver Spring TLM Congregation meets at the Historic Church of St. John the Evangelist, 9700 Rosensteel Avenue, Forest Glen.
