Msgr. Smith to offer Sunday Traditional Mass at Silver Spring

A Low Mass will be offered this Sunday, September 6, at the Traditional Latin Mass Congregation of Silver Spring, Maryland. Reverend Monsignor K. Bartholomew Smith, pastor of St. Bernadette parish in Four Corners, will be the celebrant of the Mass of the 15th Sunday after Pentecost.

Holy Mass will begin at 8:00 am.  Confessions will be heard from 7:30 to 7:55 am.

Alexandria St. Rita to inaugurate First Friday Traditional Mass

The parish of St. Rita of Cascia in Alexandria has announced that a Traditional Latin Mass will be offered at 8:00 am on the First Friday of each month beginning this Friday, September 4. This monthly Mass, which is in addition to the Tuesday and Thursday evening traditional Masses now offered weekly at St. Rita’s, will be added to our seven-day schedule.

St. Rita of Cascia Church is located at 3815 Russell Road, just off Mount Vernon Avenue at the north end of the Del Ray neighborhood, and offers ample free parking.
