A Day of Recollection sponsored by Juventutem DC will be held Friday afternoon, October 7, at 4:00 pm in Lourdes Chapel at the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception, 400 Michigan Avenue NE, Washington.
Reverend Father Lawrence Lew op of the Dominican Province of England will celebrate a Low Mass in the Dominican Rite for the Feast of Our Lady of the Rosary and afterward will offer a recollection on the theme “The Rosary: Medication Against Spiritual Alzheimer’s.” The Mass and recollection are free of charge and open to the public.
Lourdes Chapel is located on the lower level of the Basilica adjacent to the Crypt Church. The Basilica is about a 10-minute walk from the Brookland-CUA station on Metrorail’s Red Line. Ample free parking is available on the Basilica grounds and in a surface lot across Harewood Road.
