Monday evening TLM set at Crystal City Lourdes

The Traditional Latin Mass (Extraordinary Form) will be offered at 7:00 pm this coming Monday evening, March 5, at Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Arlington. Reverend Father Eric Shafer, parochial vicar of Sacred Heart Church in Winchester, Virginia, will be the celebrant of the Mass, which has been added to our seven-day schedule.

Our Lady of Lourdes Church is located four blocks west of U.S. Route 1 in Crystal City and offers ample free parking. Metrorail provides frequent service on the Blue and Yellow Lines to the Crystal City station, a 15-minute walk from the church.

Fr. Tangorra to offer Missa Cantata this Sunday at Silver Spring

A Missa Cantata with schola will be offered this Sunday, February 25, at the Traditional Latin Mass Congregation of Silver Spring, Maryland. Reverend Father Philip-Michael Tangorra of the Diocese of Paterson will be the celebrant of the Mass of the Second Sunday in Lent. This Mass has been added to our seven-day schedule.

Holy Mass will begin at 8:00 am. Confessions will be heard from 7:30 to 7:55 am. A second collection will be taken up for the Church in the Developing World.

Fr. Thompson to offer Missa Cantata this Sunday at Silver Spring

A Missa Cantata with schola will be offered this Sunday, February 11, at the Traditional Latin Mass Congregation of Silver Spring, Maryland. Reverend Father D. B. Thompson of the Diocese of Lake Charles will be the celebrant of the Mass of Quinquagesima Sunday. This Mass has been added to our seven-day schedule.

Holy Mass will begin at 8:00 am. Confessions will be heard from 7:15 to 7:45 am.

Baltimore St. Alphonsus sets changes to this week’s daily Mass schedule

There will be two changes to the daily Traditional Latin Mass schedule at Baltimore’s National Shrine of St. Alphonsus Liguori because of the scheduled absence of pastor Reverend Father Joel Kiefer fssp:

  • No Mass will be offered Thursday, February 8.
  • Saturday’s Mass, ordinarily offered at 7:00 am, will be offered at 12:10 pm on February 10.

The National Shrine of St. Alphonsus Liguori is located in downtown Baltimore. Parking is available nearby in metered spaces, on surface lots, and in garages. There is no charge for street parking on weekdays before 8:00 am or after 6:00 pm. However, motorists are cautioned not to park on the south side of Saratoga Street, or on Park Avenue north of Saratoga Street, during weekday morning rush hours from 7:00 am to 9:00 am.

Msgr. Smith to offer TLM this Sunday at Silver Spring

A Low Mass in the Extraordinary Form will be offered Sunday, February 4, at the Traditional Latin Mass Congregation of Silver Spring, Maryland. Celebrant of the Mass of Sexagesima Sunday will be Reverend Monsignor K. Bartholomew Smith, pastor of St. Bernadette’s parish in Four Corners.

Holy Mass will begin at 8:00 am. Confessions will be heard from 7:30 to 7:55 am. A second collection will be taken up for the archdiocesan Cardinal’s Appeal.
