Fr. Carr to offer additional TLMs this Thursday, Friday, Saturday

all_soulsThe Traditional Latin Mass (Extraordinary Form) will be offered on Thursday and Friday evenings and Saturday morning of this week by Reverend Father Richard Carr at St. Michael Church, 7401 St. Michael’s Lane, Annandale.

Besides the Solemn High Mass of All Souls to be offered on Thursday evening, November 2, at 7:00 pm, the second and third Masses of All Souls will be offered consecutively on Thursday afternoon at 2:00 pm. A daily Mass for the Dead will be offered on Friday evening, November 3, at 5:00 pm. Low Mass of the Feast of St. Charles Borromeo will be offered at 7:00 am on Saturday morning, November 4.

Two All Souls TLMs to be offered at Clifton St. Andrew’s

The Traditional Latin Mass (Extraordinary Form) will be offered twice on Tuesday, November 2, at St. Andrew’s Church in Clifton, Virginia. Low Mass for the Commemoration of All Souls will be said at 4:30 pm and at 6:00 pm. These Masses have been added to our seven-day schedule.

St. Andrew’s Church is located at 6720 Union Mill Road in Clifton, two and a half miles south of Lee Highway (U.S. Route 29). Ample free parking is available.

Dominican Rite Requiem Mass to be offered All Souls’ Day at D.C. Priory

A Solemn Requiem Mass in the Dominican Rite will be offered at 7:30 pm on Monday, November 2, at the Priory of the Immaculate Conception in Washington.

The Priory, a religious community of friars within the Dominican Province of St. Joseph, is located at 487 Michigan Avenue NE, about five minutes’ walk from the Brookland-CUA station of Metrorail’s Red Line. Parking is available on neighborhood streets off Michigan Avenue; limited parking is available on the Priory grounds.

Special November Masses to be offered at Benedict St. Francis de Sales

Three special offerings of the Traditional Latin Mass will be celebrated during the first week of November by Father Kevin Cusick at St. Francis de Sales Church, 7185 Benedict Avenue, Benedict, Maryland:

  • Mass will be offered for the Feast of All Saints on Saturday, November 1, at 8:00 am.
  • On Monday, November 3, the transferred commemoration of All Souls will be observed with a Mass at noon.
  • A First Friday Mass will be celebrated at 7:00 pm on November 7. Eucharistic Adoration will follow immediately after Mass.

St. Francis de Sales Church is located in Charles County about 45 minutes to an hour south of the Capital Beltway (I-95/495). Established in 1903, the parish has offered the Traditional Latin Mass every Sunday since the first Sunday of Advent 1989.
