February 3 TLM moved to evening at Baltimore St. Alphonsus

The National Shrine of St. Alphonsus Liguori in Baltimore announces that its regular Wednesday Traditional Latin Mass on February 3 has been rescheduled from 12:10 pm to 7:00 pm. In observance of the feast of St. Blase, throats will be blessed. This change has been posted to our seven-day schedule.

St. Alphonsus Church is located at 114 West Saratoga Street in downtown Baltimore. Parking is available nearby in metered spaces, on surface lots, and in garages.

Candlemas evening TLM to be offered at McLean St. John

A Traditional Latin Mass (Extraordinary Form) will be offered at 7:30 pm Tuesday evening, February 2, at St. John the Beloved Church in McLean. Tuesday evening’s Mass, which has been added to our seven-day schedule, will be in observance of the feast of the Purification of the Blessed Virgin Mary, also known as Candlemas.

St. John the Beloved Church is located at 6420 Linway Terrace in McLean, near the intersection of Old Dominion Drive and Birch Road, and offers ample free parking.

Candlemas TLM activities set at Alexandria St. Rita

The regularly scheduled 7:30 pm Traditional Latin Mass at St. Rita of Cascia Church in Alexandria this Tuesday evening, February 2, will be in observance of the feast of the Purification of the Blessed Virgin Mary, also known as Candlemas. Mass will be preceded by the blessing of candles and a procession in honor of the Blessed Mother. All are welcome to bring candles to be blessed before Mass.

This Mass has been added to our seven-day schedule.

St. Rita of Cascia Church is located at 3815 Russell Road, just off Mount Vernon Avenue at the north end of the Del Ray neighborhood, and offers ample free parking.
