A Day of Recollection sponsored by Juventutem DC will be held this Friday afternoon, March 10, at 3:30 pm in Lourdes Chapel at the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception, 400 Michigan Avenue NE, Washington.
Reverend Father Andrew Royals, pastor of St. Joseph Church in Morganza, Maryland, will celebrate Low Mass of Ember Friday in Lent, and afterward will speak on the topic “Rend Your Hearts, Not Your Garments.” The Mass and recollection are free of charge and open to the public. This Mass has been added to our seven-day schedule.
Lourdes Chapel is located on the lower level of the Basilica adjacent to the Crypt Church. The Basilica is about a 10-minute walk from the Brookland-CUA station on Metrorail’s Red Line. Metered parking is available on the Basilica grounds; ample free parking is available in a surface lot across Harewood Road.
